I logged into accounts.nintendo.com today and on a whim decided to check out the Japanese site when I noticed it showed my Mii in the upper-right corner with 200 platinum coins.
I don't know if anyone else has discovered this, but I thought it an interesting find the day before America is supposed to get access.
