Personal Note: If you found any other hidden gems, or just have something to say, say it in the comments! It's the eleventh hour and people can actually hear you now!

Inspired somewhat by the recent post of Hidden Gems, I found that it's largely become completely congested. As such, I'll coalesce a lot of the deals posted by the guys there here, instead. I'll add others in case I find any of them in the original thread.

  • Orwell: A game about spying on people.
  • Bounty Train: A train sim where you build the ultimate robber-proof goods train.
  • Caravan: A simulation/adventure game where you operate a trade caravan in the desert.
  • The Final Station: You're on a train traveling through a world facing a zombie plague. At each station you have to fight zombies, pick up supplies and stuff.
  • World of Guns: Gun Disassembly: For gun nuts(I'm guessing there are many American gamers here that may appreciate it).
  • Steep: High-altitude sports game. Looks like fun.
  • Game Dev Tycoon: A game about making games. What could be more meta for this sub?
  • Tharsis: An odds-based sim game about surviving on a damaged spaceship.
  • Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma: A visual novel about a murder mystery.

Games Thrice Reposted by /u/ParanoidAndroid1309

  • Bulletstorm – $5 - One of my favorite FPS of last gen. The gunplay is great and the action is fast and frantic. It’s getting a remaster next year but it still looks great by today’s standards.
  • Singularity – $7.50 - Like Bulletstorm, a tremendous FPS from last gen that got overlooked and overshadowed by Bioshock. The last great hurrah by Raven before they started to make COD maps packs.
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – $5 - The only Battlefield game I’ve played but I really enjoyed this one. Solid campaign with lots of destructible environments.
  • Enemy Front – $3 -The only(?) singleplayer focused WWII shooter to come out in quite some time. Not amazing, but certainly fun and pretty.
  • Alien Rage Unlimited – $2 - Like Enemy Front, a bit rough around the edges but still plenty of fun to be had here.
  • Enslaved: Odyseey to the West – $5 -Some terrific characterization here with a good story and satisfying third person melee combat. Wonderful facial animations as well.
  • The Swapper – $2.80 - Still the best puzzle game I’ve played since Portal 2.
  • To the Moon – $2.50 - The only game that has made me cry. There’s not a whole lot of “game” there, but the story is quite moving.
  • Psychonauts – $1 - It’s a classic for a reason. Great 3D platforming with some really imaginative worlds that can only come from Double Fine.
  • Witcher 2 – $3 - Game that got me into the series and a fine starting point imo. Lots of game for the price but the Full Combat Rebalance mod is a must.
  • Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD – $3.40 - One of the few Western games on PC and this one is really great. Hybrid FPS/TPS that really stands up well today.
  • LISA - $2.50 - Whoa boy. This game. Undertale got the praise that I feel this game deserves. It’s an instant classic in my eyes.
  • DeathSpank – $3.74 - From the mind of Ron Gilbert, I STILL have not found another game like it. Addictive ARPG with some really great gameplay. Sequels are solid as well.

  • Total Annihilation - Great older Strategy game and the forerunner to the Supreme Commander series.
  • Downwell - Fast paced downward-pointing action platformer.
  • Zup! 2 - A great simple little physics game of moving blocks and interacting blocks.
  • Postal 2 - Classic, satirical, early, GTA style open world action shooter.
  • Blood and Bacon - Classic horde mode gameplay with exploration.
  • Hook - Short but elegant logic based puzzle game.
  • klocki - Another short, minimalist and elegant logic based puzzle game with an extra dimension and a little more difficulty.
  • LYNE - Another simplistic logic based puzzle game. ($0.89)
  • Super Hexagon - Intensely fast paced multi-play puzzle?/action game. Great soundtrack.
  • One Finger Death Punch - Classic single-click fighting game. Simple, effective fun.
  • Bit Blaster XL - Throwback gameplay & arcade artstyle but with plenty of cool new modes and great sound.

Misc Recommendations

  • PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. It has both 1st and 2nd part. If you own gamepad, for $1.99 it's great little game. {/u/summsk}
  • Earthtongue is very cheap right now: -75% off at 1.24€. Ecosystem Simulator (Note: Apparently can be played fast or slow). {/u/Nobushi}
  • Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages is $0.50 USD right now. | Agreed. One of my favorite lines from the game: "did we just blow up a garbage truck?" "Yeah, but it had lasers. So I think that makes it morally acceptable" Or something like that. {/u/Xivios and /u/Rejera}
  • Balrum is a great old school, isometric PCRPG that warrants checking out if you're into exploration with some light sandboxy/crafting elements. Historical low ($7.49) {/u/Nolat}
  • Intorversion Bundle for a bunch of older games, and prison architect for even cheaper. {/u/Art4dinner }
  • Tales of Maj'Eyal is an engrossing turn-based rougelite dungeon-crawler. Very in depth with lots of content. At just under £2.50 even though it's 'only' 50% off, it's well worth it. It's overwhelmingly positive for a reason. {/u/Pika2346}
  • Buy Teslagrad everyone! (Ullyses notes: 2D platformer, solid puzzler, punishing platformer) {/u/nether1n}
  • This gem does not go on sale too often: Arx Fatalis 67% off {/u/Gearmos}
  • Super Giant Games' premiere game Bastion is currently $2.99. I know Bastion is older and may have gotten a lot of praise but I didn't see it on the featured and it is a good game with a great story and a hell of a sound track. {/u/Heagram}
  • Telltale Tales from the Borderlands is at historic low (6.24) and is imo the best telltale game, even if you do not like or havent played the original borderlands games you should give it a try. If you like borderlands 1 and 2 then it's a must.
  • Tales of Symphonia -- 75% off and historical low at $4.99. Also, game is rated various levels of positive:
  • Brigador is $10 (50% off), close to its historical low. Isometric vehicular action game with destructible everything. In other words, a Kool-Aid man simulator.
  • For example, I was looking at The Solus Project which is currently 50% off at $9.99. It's also available in a bundle with The Ball which is marked down to 60% off. The Ball was featured in a few different bundles and, if you already own that game, Steam discounts the bundle. In this case, I can purchase the bundle for $7.99. You won't get a second copy of The Ball, but you can pick up The Solus Project for cheaper.
  • I haven't seen anybody mention Antichamber for a while, It is 85% off ($2.99). It's a great first-person puzzle game and takes about 4 hours to get through.
  • Deadcore - $2.49 Excellent movement based environmental puzzle game, like a mix between Portal and Source engine jump/surf maps. {/u/emiliotf2}
  • 80 Days - $4.99 An incredibly well written choose your own adventure/resource management game. You are Phileas Foggs assistant and plan his trip around the world, lots of secrets and side stories and an incredible amount of replayability. {/u/emiliotf2}
  • Shelter 2 is a lynx survival game, 83% off. I've had this on my wishlist for a while, and it's $2.50 give or take (my Store page is in CDN). Reviews are good, and I like the idea of getting to play as a big mama cat. {/u/bombos}
  • SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics was so worth it for me, 15 dollars for pretty much every game I loved on the Genesis? That's awesome. {/u/Rories12}
  • Binary Domain is -75%. It's a third person shooter set in a not so distant future where you fight robots. It has a really nice story and great gameplay, with a few nice ideas such as destructible limbs on the robots and some amazing boss fights. It's a very, very underrated game. {/u/puglifejm}
  • Late to the party, but I'd like to note that Mekazoo, a very fun indie game that's only a few months old, is already 50% off, currently priced at $9.99... you can morph your mechanical animal form to gain different abilities and progress through the level with different mechanisms. Haven't played too much of it yet, but the game looks fantastic. {/u/Mandraxon}
  • I just want to give a shout out to Circa Infinity, one of my favourite games of recent memory. It's frustratingly simple in concept and incredibly complex in its level design. {/u/bravbro}
  • Azure Striker Gunvolt $7.49 and is 50% off. It's a good platformer that feels like megaman without the different types of ammunition. I see it as what Mighty No9 should have been {/u/hutre}
  • Magrunner: Dark Pulse - $2.49 (75% off): Portal meets HP Lovecraft/Cyberpunk. Seemed like an interesting/strange mix with pretty positive reviews so I picked it up. {/u/Lupas }
  • Magnetic: Cage Closed - $1.50 (90% off): Another similar deal to portal but you are a prisoner being forced to run tests for the warden. Seems like a darker and more bleak version of portal as you constantly get berated by the warden in a more aggressive way than with Glados. {/u/Lupas }

With the large quantity of the old deals posted, I'd love to see any other hidden gems there might be out there. I'll post the two major things from the previous thread (The massive posts on Coop games and the massive post on games less than three dollars) below, and I'll post any other collections or mild reccomendations I find above.
