The Secret World has the best story missions of any MMO I've played. Combat is okay, skill wheel is exciting to explore, sabotage missions suck. You can play this solo pretty much start to finish if you want but there is still a decent player base.
Standard edition is also on sale for $10.19 and still provides hours of engaging gameplay. This is the same price as the Steam Summer Sale.
